It was truly a blessing to be installed last night as the Pastor of Victor Community Church. Thank you to Dr. Ewing, Pastor Dana, the Deacon Board, and all of our VCC Family for making it such a special night for us.

It has been amazing to see God's hand every step of the way as He has led us to Victor, NY. Your kindness and hospitality has been incredible. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and so at home here.

I genuinely look at our arrival at VCC as the culmination of all God has done in my life. The journey has been amazing, and I am so grateful for all the people God has used to develop and encourage me along the way. Above all, I am thankful for Jesus, who died in my place so that I could have this eternal and abundant life.

Let me share the quote I read last night . . . . it is a really old quote, but it so accurately conveys my heart as I begin my ministry as your pastor . . . .

"For you, I am Bishop, but with you, I am a Christian. The first is an office accepted, the second a grace received; one a danger, the other safety. If then I am gladder by far to be redeemed with you than I am to be placed over you, I shall, as the Lord commanded, be more completely your servant." (Augustine)

These are exciting days! I am so grateful to be your servant, and to be taking the journey with you, my church family.
