What a tremendous first week at VCC! It has been far busier than I imagined, but that is a good thing! God is preparing us for something extraordinary! May we be faithful in following His leading and direction in reaching our community for Jesus Christ! This week has been full of meetings, phone conversations, and e-mail exchanges. I have spoken to people about leadership, worship ministry, greeting/assimilation ministry, and in just an hour or so, children's ministry! There is so much to do, but I am already overwhelmed by the enormous support, and by the deep desire by so many to see VCC used by God in a mighty way. There's no "playing church" here! We're in this for the Kingdom! Let me leave you with these verses in Galatians: "Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen." (Galatians 1:3-5) Have a BLESSED day!
